I have committed to chronological read thru the Bible in a year with an accountability partner, making sure I look for what I can learn about God
God has given me the gift of an accountability partner. I can easily lose self discipline and forget my priorities when I am alone. So every week we have committed to meet in pursuit of becoming more like Christ. Highly recommend, 10/10!
I am currently reading through the Bible in two years. I have made it a priority that when I take out my Bible, I have a pad of sticky notes and a pen and any notes/ questions/ interesting things that come up I am jotting it down. That way I can go back and look through all the things I had learned from my reading. Especially in the Old Testament, they can all mesh together and I think it is so good to be able to distinguish the different stories that happen!
